Fashion Nail Art

Nail art is a creative activity that draws pictures or designs fingernails. It a type of art. These days fingernails and toenails are seen by some as important points of beauty.

Also, it is a type of fashion activity, related to manicuring. There are commercial shops ('nail bars') where nails are worked on to make them attractive.

Nail art seems to be catching on in fashion lately. I see hand and foot salon adding nail art to their list of services. I can understand why women love having their nails done and consequently, adding some art into it and not just plain colors. It is another way of expressing oneself and standing out of the crowd.

We often consider our nails as just a simple part of our hands and feet. But with nail art becoming popular among the middle class, it's changing everyone's perspective and ordinary people are beginning to appreciate the artistic beauty of creative nail arts and I'm one of the people that appreciate and loves nail arts.

Fashion jewelry Trends This Year

The costume jewelry trends these past seasons have been practically just swimming around the same concept: “Bold and Bulging” with over the top detailing and chunky features. The more the merrier as they say, the trends are even more focused with a hybrid of natural materials and various metals. Modern artistry still prevails in the upper market with usage of more long-lasting and sustainable materials such as sterling silver gold-filled and stainless steel metals– I’ve read before in an intensive analysis on jewelry industry in the Philippines that these are what’s called “Bridge Jewelry”, since they are positioned between Fine and Costume/Fashion jewelry.

Ornamented & Bold Bracelets
This pattern has been scorching for a while considering that Louis Vuitton produced a significant statement with his embellished cuff designs. Wonderfully dyed leather cuffs reminiscent of “surfer chic” with ornamentation are generating much rave and substantial Lucite confetti bangles like in the old 50s and 60s, metal cuffs with charms, studs and crystals are all big and bold.

Eclectic /All-natural Ethnic /Tribal
Ethnic and regional styles are often very hot and this year has no exception. Taking from the Native American or African use of natural stones like turquoise, agates, onyx, opaque and other stones in rock candy colors as seen in high stop styles of Oscar Heyman and Katy Briscoe. Beautiful pale angelskin coral and red coral, whether utilized in their raw type or faceted are still not to be missed. Bringing all these together is just one concept: Mother Nature.

Fake & Genuine Pearls
Pearls yell pure classicism. For centuries they have been hugely desired for their natural class and exclusive appeal. Used in the Victorian Era, pearls have evolved from simple one-strand to numerous layers and layers of beautifully hand crafted balls. Even Cartier has revived their classic styling in a lot more eye catching pearl with diamonds as added details. Pearls can be worn with edgy metals and other ornaments to have that feel of “warrior princess” but still exuding glamour.

Long - Medium Length Hairstyles for Men

Medium Length Hairstyles

This style has incredible forward movement which means you must communicate with your stylist about creating texture in the hair. Whenever you have a style that has a longer bang, you have to be careful of weight and bulk in the bangs. If the bangs are too heavy, the hair will hang on your forehead, potentially creating a bowl-like style. Have your stylist break up the bulk of a long bang with a straightedge razor or texturizing shears. This will create dimension and movement, allowing the bangs to swing off to the side. If you have stick-straight hair, you can achieve this look, but may take the use of a blow dryer to get the bang moving in the direction you’d like. Polish off this look with a light hold matte hair paste. I recommend matte because the focus is on the bang and applying a product with too much shine in it may appear to make your hair look greasy.

Long Length Hairstyles

Volumous and free flowing, wear your wavy mane with proud by wearing it long. The longer length will demonstrate your curl at its finest, but be sure and have your stylist cut shape into your mane. You still will want to maintain control because a one-length style does not compliment curls the best. Once shaped, you can wear the waves au natural, or for a variation as shown in this picture, create a off-middle part, take a flat boar-bristle brush to the bang area and blow out the front smooth. This will relax the over-all effect of a wavy style. Use products that will fight humidity and control frizz. Finish the look with a few drops of a liquid shine product dispensed into your palms then dispersed through your wavy locks.

Make Your Lip More Sexy

A form of body piercing that is growing in popularity is that of lip piercing. From the rich and the famous to the not so famous, both men and women are turning to lip piercing as a means of self expression. The lip piercing features a fairly quick and painless recovery period and there is literally a plethora of choices from rings to bar bells to captured beads. All of these allow one to freely express them selves in a different way every day of the year provided that they have enough jewelry.

A Lip piercing is a type of body piercing which penetrate the lips, or the area surrounding the lips. The lips and surrounding area can be pierced in a variety of ways. Of the possible piercing locations available, the ones that are most commonly referred to are those of the Monroe, Medusa and labrets.

The Labret piercing can further be separated into different types. The first type of labret piercing is those on the upper lip similar to that of the Monroe piercing but there is no particular placement. Basically, if it is not localized for a Monroe piercing, then it is just a standard labret piercing.

Lip piercing can also be done in sets which are known as bites. In the bites style of lip piercing, there are usually two piercing and two studs on opposite sides of the lips. When these pairs of piercing are on the upper lip they are known as angelbites whereas when they are located on the lower lips they are most commonly referred to as snakebites. There is also the venombites in which the lower lips piercing are located close together. You also have the caninebites in which a angelbite piercing is combined with a snakebite piercing but rather than using 4 studs, the upper piercing holes are studded to the lower holes. Finally there is the spiderbites which places three piercing, one in the center and two off to either side in equal distances from the first.

Can Your Hair Turn White or Gray Overnight?

You've heard tales of extreme fright or stress turning a person's hair suddenly gray or white overnight, but can it really happen? History records that the hair of some condemned prisoners [e.g., Thomas More (1535) and Marie Antoinette (1793)] turned white overnight before their executions. However, I am unaware of any modern reports of this happening. It's documented your apparent natural haircolor can change over the course of several weeks/months from conditions that affect your hormones (such as pregnancy) or from taking certain medications (like chemotherapy), but can you go gray overnight? Let's look at the chemistry of hair to answer the question.

Hair is a protein that gets its natural color from the presence of a pigment called melanin. Anyone who has bleached their hair can tell you it's chemically possible to render the melanin colorless. Therefore if your sudden fright has something to do with exposure to ionizing radiation or bleach, I can see white hair being a possible outcome, though less likely than baldness or death. Seriously, unless you are playing with toxic radiation or chemicals, you can't instantly change your hair color.
Can fear or stress or any extraordinary emotion change the color of your hair? Yes, but not instantly. Your psychological state has a significant impact on the hormones that can effect the amount of melanin deposited in each strand of hair, but the effect of emotion takes a long time to see. The hair you see on your head emerged from its follicle a long time ago. So, graying or any other color change is a gradual process, occurring over the course of several weeks, months, or years.

Your emotions can't instantly change the color of your hair, but it is possible you could turn gray overnight. How? A medical condition termed "diffuse alopecia areata" can result in sudden hair loss. The biochemistry of alopecia isn't well understood, but in people who have a mix of dark and gray or white hair, the uncolored hair is less likely to fall out. The result? A person can appear to go gray overnight. Although I didn't find any references on this, the implication to me is your hair thins or you become bald if you don't have any gray hair, which for some reason is less resistant to the effect. Sudden hair loss can be caused by certain drugs, medical conditions, or by sudden stress. It tends to occur over the course of several days/weeks, but the result is still dramatic.

Find the right foundation for your skin

Ask 10 women which foundation they use and you are likely to get 10 different answers. With at least hundreds of foundations to choose from, shopping can be frustrating. Foundation formulas are also geared toward specific skin types, which is yet another reason it’s important to be educated about your skin. I asked my friend Kevin James Bennett, an Emmy Award-winning makeup artist and creative director of MADE NYCBennett, for some inside scoop on makeup.Q. What’s your favorite foundation?

Skin type plays a big role in choosing a foundation. But whether you have oily, blemished or mature skin, I recommend a silicone-based formula because it rides on the surface of the skin, and won’t absorb or accentuate less-than-perfect texture, lines or wrinkles. All skin types can try Becca Stick Foundation, which offers full coverage in 30 (yes, 30!) shades, so there’s something for everyone. My budget-minded favorite is Mehron Celebre Pro-HD because it’s inexpensive for a high-quality, full-coverage cream makeup. For normal to dry skin, I love Face Atelier Ultra Foundation because it has a silicone-based primer built in.Q. Do you prefer liquid foundation or powder?
I shy away from powder foundations. Even though they might be easy to use and offer better portability, a good liquid foundation will always look more like skin and won’t accentuate fine lines and surface texture.Q. Should we apply with sponges, fingers or brushes?
For sanitary reasons and better application, I prefer sponges and brushes. I prefer to dab foundation (with a cotton swab) onto areas that need coverage and then blend with a clean, synthetic foundation brush or a non-latex sponge. Using a swab prevents contaminating foundation with bacteria, and wastes a lot less than applying directly to a sponge or makeup brush.Q. What do you recommend for covering tattoos or other skin imperfections like bruises, vitiligo, melisma and port wine stains?
My go-to foundation for super-high coverage is CoverFX Total Coverage Cream Foundation SPF 30, and it comes in 32 shades. Q. Is there anything that truly masks dark undereye circles?
Check out Keromask Masking Cream by Kristy Cosmetics and Amazing Cosmetics’ Amazing Concealer. (The key to the best concealer result is to start with only a little cream, and blend, blend, blend!)Q. Any foundation tips if you’re going to be taking a lot of pictures?
Make sure all edges are blended properly (there’s nothing worse than see a line of demarcation where foundation ends and your skin begins). Carry blotting papers to freshen foundation. They remove excess oil, leave no residue and won’t disturb your makeup. (Powdering to reduce shine will result in a cakey-looking mess after repeated applications.)Q. Do HD foundations work?
Some do and some don’t. Certain companies use the HD (high definition) name as a marketing ploy because it’s a big buzzword. Others create formulations specifically made to comply with HD format media. If you can see foundation texture after application, it’s not genuinely HD compliant. An HD camera can see up to six times closer than the human eye, so if you can see foundation on the skin, the camera definitely will.Q. How can you find a great makeup artist?
When you see someone with a fantastic makeup application at a party or event, ask who did it. If you’re shopping for an artist and have only seen pictures of their work, be sure to ask for a few references (and consider scheduling a test-run before your big event).

Men's Fashion In India 2012

Elegance is the essence of Italian life. Most Italians will give up anything to achieve elegance. Fashion to Italians is almost an obsession. All you need to do is to sit around the piazzas or side walk cafés and watch the Italian males strut around in their latest sartorial elegance. Maybe this is the reason why some of the most famous fashion designers are either Italians or are based in Italy.
Italian fashion usually heralds the fashion trends that the rest of the world follows. These are usually trends that flaunt the wearer’s best assets and conceal the imperfections. But Italians are also very sensible people, they do follow trends but they also are conscious about durability, timelessness and authenticity of their clothes. For Italians, clothes are not everything. Italian fashion is a way of life, a mind-set of classiness, custom-made and smoothness.

It pays to be aware of the Italian fashion trend if a guy wants to be ahead in the fashion game. And it is not difficult to know what the Italians are wearing, it is very easily available. A click of an internet button, a peek at all the most exclusive boutiques, even a stroll at all the big shopping malls, Italian fashion will confront you.
One of the most well-known Italian fashion houses is Dolce & Gabbana founded by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana who are as prolific in their designs today as when they started. They offer not only clothes but also accessories such as perfume, sun glasses and the like for both men and women. The Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection was focused around unconventional tailoring in texture, color and dimensions inspired by innovative fashion icon and musician Bryan Ferry. This eccentric chic is explicitly articulated in a short red jacket paired with trousers with a loose fit and tight cuff.
The House of Valentino, another celebrated Italian fashion house, on the other hand, incorporated contemporary edge to sartorial elegance. Their fall/winter collection is centered on fine tailoring and luxurious knits – outerwear with leather and fur details, warm customized cashmere cardigans, leather peacoats, duffel jackets and classic suits.

Amber rose gold Kardashian, Justin bieber trends

Amber Rose On Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber And Kanye West
GlobalGrind caught up with hip-hop fly girl, model, designer, actress and icon Amber Rose, hours before she was to attend the launch party for the second season of BET and Smirnoff’s Master of The Mix launch.
Amber, who is a judge on the DJ battle reality series, chatted with GG about the Kim Kardashian/Justin Bieber deluge that’s currently poppin’ in the media.
We also discussed what it’s like to have Kanye West shout her out during his Watch the Throne tour stop in her hometown of Philly.
Check out Part One of our exclusive below!
VIDEO: Kanye West Dedicates his Philly Performance to Amber Rose!
GlobalGrind: As a person in the public eye who has had her fair share of drama, do you have an opinion about what’s going on with the Kardashian divorce and Justin Bieber’s baby mama drama?
Amber Rose: Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, they’re both way more famous than I am, so I’m sure they’re getting it probably a little more than I do or did. We’re all human beings, celebrity or not, we all make mistakes. we all go through trials and tribulations in our lives and you have to overcome it. just pray. whatever you believe in, just pray and really keep your life very positive, that’s what I do.
If you follow me on Twitter, you know I’m all about women’s empowerment, girl power, being inspirational, being dope and doing things that make me happy. at the end of the day, you can’t live your life for other people. People are always going to judge you no matter what. They’re going to judge me on my music, they’re going to judge me on my hair, they’re going to judge me on my outfit, but at the end of the day I’m happy! So, Justin Bieber, he’ll get over it. whatever happens, he’ll move on, he’s super talented, he’ll still be successful.
With Kim Kardashian, I think a lot of people think that it was all fake, it was all phony. you never know what goes on in someone’s life, you can only really assume. you never know what happened! People judge me all the time but they don’t know my life, they don’t know where I come from, what I go through, or what I’ve been through.
Kanye recently shouted you out when he was on stage in Philly. He basically thanked Philly for making you. what do you think about that?

Bill and jay Chou's video adventure

Carey Editor's Note: Over the past few months, Bill and Jay became friends and developed a bad habit of finding live performances on YouTube, e-mailing them to each other, then wasting valuable time overanalyzing them for no real purpose whatsoever. Recently, they decided to drag others into their time-wasting vortex by forcing Grantland editor Lane Brown to regularly publish these e-mails on the Hollywood Prospectus.
  Here's Volume 1: Mariah Carey's Greatest Moment.
Bill: Hey Jay, come back to 1992 with me — back when MTV ran Beavis and Butt-Head episodes and had homophobic roommates on the Real World. I know, I know, it kinda sounds like 2011. But trust me, it was totally different. One of their best shows was MTV Unplugged, which usually featured the likes of Squeeze, Eric Clapton and Pearl Jam stripping their music down with acoustic performances. (Semi-related: Pearl Jam submitted the best Unplugged of all time. You're not topping this or this for an Unplugged show. Sorry. The "Nothing else matters from the early-'90s but Nirvana" fans can blow me.) Since they rarely dipped out of the rock world for these shows (LL Cool J's surprisingly competent 1991 Unplugged a rare exception), I remember thinking Mariah Carey was a strange choice for the series. Back then, she was just the semi-cheesy New Yorker with great pipes who (a) allegedly got into the business because she started banging Tommy Mottola, and (b) wasn't as good as Whitney Houston.
Jay: I've always found it counterintuitive that two of the great singing talents of the past twenty years (Mariah and Celine Dion) both started off their careers as "the girl who got a recording contract by sleeping with a much older record industry guy." Is this just a coincidence? Is there something about ultra-talented young divas that draws them toward father figure types who can shield them against some of the nastier parts of fame?
Bill: This is awkward — that's how I got my ESPN.com gig in 2001, by sleeping with John Walsh.
Jay: Here's my theory: Old nasty record industry guys sleep with all their protégés. And with Celine and Mariah, both guys were smart enough to realize that they had something special and lasting that they could ride into a happy and lucrative future. When you watch Mariah's greatest Unplugged moment — her cover of the Jackson Five's "I'll Be There" — it's pretty clear why Tommy Mottola, who, by the way, also had a big hand in developing Celine's career, ended up being the record industry guy who defined so much of the '90s sound. Everything here is perfect: the intimate nightclub lighting, the crowded yet somehow understated stage, Mariah's hair, her simple, black outfit, the old bald guy playing the piano, the eight backup singers and the fact that Mariah, the Queen of the High Notes, was gracious enough to yield the vocal acrobatics to Trey Lorenz.
